An inline translation assistant for your Mac. Select text in any app, double-tap Shift, and read or write across languages — without breaking your flow.
Unsigned preview build (Gatekeeper bypass needed). Windows in development.
Translation is the means; the goal is to remove the friction of working in another language.
Select text in any app and double-tap Shift to translate. A non-intrusive floating panel that never steals focus.
Detects the source and picks the target. Three inputs: selection, typing, and screenshot OCR.
Show readings (e.g. furigana / romaji for Japanese); back-translate to confirm the meaning came through.
Paste the translation back into the original field — works in Slack, email, docs, and Electron apps.
Keep canonical phrases. Insert as-is, or translate-then-insert your template into the target language.
Default to the cloud — sign in and go. Or point to your own backend and use your own API key (BYO / BYOK).
From “I don't get it” to “sent”, without leaving what you're doing.
Highlight text you can't read, or text you want to send in another language.
A panel appears by your cursor and streams the translation, reading, and back-check.
Drop the translation back into the field and carry on.
Free for everyday use; upgrade to Pro when you need more.

It detects the source automatically and translates across many languages, powered by a multilingual model — including Chinese, Japanese, English and more.
Select text in any app, double-tap Shift to see the translation, then press ⌘↩ to insert it back into the original field.
Cloud translation is sent over an encrypted connection and is not retained long-term. Or point the app at your own backend (BYO / BYOK) so text never touches our servers.
There's a free tier with a monthly quota. Upgrade to Pro for a much larger quota.
macOS is available now; Windows is in development.
